Location
The Mill Park Hotel is located in Donegal Town, Co. Donegal on the North West coast of Ireland. Donegal Town is an ideal base from which to tour the many attractions with the North West of Ireland.
The larger towns of Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh and Sligo are within an hour's drive from the Mill Park Hotel. The town of Killybegs, Ireland's premier fishing port is a 30 minute drive and the City of Derry is approximately a 90 minutes journey from Donegal Town.
If arriving into Ireland by air, allow up to 1.5 hours drive time from Knock Airport and the City of Derry Airport. The smaller regional airports of Donegal and Sligo have daily flight connections to Dublin Airport.
When travelling by car from the Dublin Airport follow the most direct route to Donegal is via Cavan on the N3 Route. Allow 3.5 to 4 hours journey time.
Travelling from Belfast International Airport allow for 2.5 to 3 hours driving to reach Donegal Town - the most direct route is via Lifford, Co. Donegal travelling the N15 road toward Donegal Town.
Mill Park Hotel - Directions
Regardless of the direction you are driving from, the best approach to the Mill Park Hotel is to drive towards Donegal Town until you reach the Donegal Town ring-road which by-passes the town.
Staying on the Donegal Town by-pass, travel in the direction towards Killybegs (N56). As you approach the exit at the Killybegs round-about, the Mill Park Hotel is visible from the roundabout and the entry into the hotel grounds is clearly sign-posted.
Alternatively, travel into the centre of Donegal Town. Upon reaching the Town Centre (also referred to at the "Diamond"), take the road exit signposted toward to Killybegs. From the "Diamond" follow the Killybegs road for 1km, until arriving at the traffic round-about. You will see the Mill Park Hotel on your right-hand side.
